If you choose to take a snorkeling tour from the marina in Cabo San Lucas, most of the time they stop at Chileno Bay. The boats anchor in the water and people jump off the boats to snorkel. Some tours also offer stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking.
On the weekends and holidays this beach gets pretty busy. The locals enjoy this beach as much as the tourists. I recommend bringing a beach chair, umbrella and cooler. This beach does not have palapas or bathrooms. They do have porta-pottys but I would not recommend using them unless you are desperate.
