this place out. It's a blast for all ages. It's called WET FUN or in Spanish they call it Parque Acuatico.
You will be amazed at how huge this place is being that it is located in the middle of nowhere! There are slides for all ages, a pirate ship, a water bucket that fills and dumps, kiddie pools, kiddie slides, adult slides and relaxing quiet pools.
There are even slides for the adventurous dare devils. There is plenty of shaded areas with tables and chairs to sit, relax and keep cool. There are bathrooms located throughout the property. The grounds are very well landscaped and the pools are very clean. As you walk around the park, everything is in
Spanish. Don't expect this place to cater towards the tourists. We have visited a handful of times and I think we might have been the only Americans.
When you get hungry, they have a grill called "Pelican Jacks". They serve excellent hamburgers, chicken nuggets
and quesadillas. They also have snacks, drinks, beer and ice cream for purchase also. The food is relatively inexpensive. This place caters to the locals so costs are low. You are not allowed to bring food or beverages into the park. They will inspect your bag upon entry.
If you are going, make sure it is open! They do close during the winter months and will be reopening around Easter Week. I advise you to call to get exact days of operation because they are not open 7 days a week. Hours of operation are 10am-6pm. They are currently open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The cost for children ages 3-10 is 140 pesos and adults is 190 pesos. They accept
During one visit, we had a group of local school kids surround us in the pool. They wanted to have a conversation in English with us. They had been learning the basics in school such as "How are you today?" and
"What is your name?" It was a touching experience because we want to learn Spanish and they want to learn English. We try to immerse our children into these types of surroundings so they will learn the language and the
This park is located about 45 minutes from Cabo San Lucas and about 20 minutes from San Jose Del Cabo. Take the road past the San Jose Del Cabo Airport and follow signs towards La Paz. You are
going to go about 20 minutes on a 2 lane desert road. Be careful and watch out for loose livestock crossing the road. WET FUN is located at KM 65 in Caduano. If you go to Miraflores, you have gone too far. You will see a sign that says "Parque Acuatico" before the turn. You will cross a bridge and then you will be
making a left. You will drive down this road and then make a right into WET FUN.
We hope you enjoy your experience at Parque Acuatico. Be sure to leave a comment if you have been and tell us what you thought.
